KZN HOST A SUCCESSFUL NATIONAL YOUTH CAMP

The province has 12a0 new trailblazers after successfully undergoing a week-long National Youth Camp in Kathastrand at Port Edward from the 3rd to 9 December 2022.
The revived annual evet was hosted by the KZN Department of Sport, Arts and Culture in partnership its national counterpart as well as the Love Life organisation.
The programme contributes towards an active young population but most importantly inspired their sense of patriotism, discipline and national identity.
Attendees engaged in different empowerment activities that sought to build character, teamwork and national pride.
At the start of the camp KZN Department of Sport, Art and Culture Acting Deputy Director General for Sport and Recreation branch Dr Sifunda said the camp would address the needs of our youth as they are the future of our country.
‘’The camp was extraordinary I enjoyed each and every day while I was in the camp. I learned a lot of things, I learned to be a leader I was even able to come out of my shell and do great things during the camp.’’cCommented Paris.
